“E” or “V”: note the V train does not run on weekends.
First stop after leaving Manhattan – 23rd Street Ely Avenue stop. Walk towards the back of the train and exit onto the corner of 44th Drive and 21st Street (faces Manhattan).
“7”: take this train from Manhattan to the 45th Road/Courthouse Square stop.
Exit onto Jackson Avenue. Walk one block south down Jackson until you reach 46th Avenue. (P.S. 1 is across the street) Turn right and walk one block to 21st Street. The gallery is on the right side of 21st Street.
“N” and “W”: take this train to the first stop after Manhattan – Queensboro Plaza.
At this station transfer to the “7” train heading towards Manhattan and get off at the next stop Courthouse Square. Exit onto Jackson Avenue. Turn right and walk one block down Jackson until you reach 46th Avenue (P.S. 1 is across the street).
Turn right and walk one block to 21st Street. The gallery is on the right side of 21st Street.
FROM BROOKLYN:
Subway: “G” train to the 21st Street/Van Alst stop. Walk 2 blocks north on 21st Street.
BY BUS:
Take the “Q67” to the 21st Street and 46th Avenue stop in front of the gallery.
BY CAR:
Via Midtown Tunnel: Stay in the far right lane as you exit the tunnel, take the first exit Long Island City / 21st Street. Wrap around onto 21st and travel 4 blocks. The gallery is on the right 45-43 21st Street.
Via Queensboro Bridge/59th Street: Use UPPER LEVEL. Take first exit to the right (21st Street/ Roosevelt Island), turn left onto 21st Street and travel south for 6 blocks to 46th Avenue.
